“THE NAME’S NOVA…
…JACKIE NOVA.”
My dive into burlesque all started with daydreaming on the subway
while traversing to and fro my survival jobs.
These mental wanderings all shared a common thread:
a vision of myself dancing in a spotlight,
with allure & comedy mixing in theatrical display.
I followed that daydream to the NY School of Burlesque where I enrolled in a class.
Shortly thereafter I auditioned for an all-male boy-lesque troupe,
and then joined the ranks as one of their inaugural members.
Thus was born… *JACKIE NOVA*
Since then, Jackie has performed at numerous venues and events, including
